Nostalgic Art Goodyear - Motorcycle, tin box
Article No.: 11074357
What do fire hoses, poker chips and car tires have in common? They are all manufactured by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company! In 1898, Frank Seiberling bought a disused factory in Ohio, USA, and together with his brother Charles laid the foundation for today's global company. They initially began manufacturing bicycle and baby carriage tires and named their company after the American inventor Charles Goodyear. In 1901, they produced the first car tires, which were even used on Henry Ford's racing car. Today, Goodyear car tires stand for quality, safety and reliability. The blue-yellow logo with the winged feet, which was inspired by the Greek god Hermes, finally makes its way into the Nostalgic Art Collection!
