My third Shark flip top helmet with reverse chinbar and possibly my last. Aerodynamically it is far superior to the previous Evolines I had but the build quality is not the same. Removing and refitting the interior to clean is an absolute mightmare especially if you have and intercom system fitted. The front locating pins for the neck lining broke in the shop when fitting the intercom unit with the helmet impact plastic shell coming unstuck from the outer shell and all this when new. The locking mechanism for the chin bar can be hard to secure if you do the chin strap up tight pulling the helmet sides in slightly. Within a year of ownership some plastic chips have already appeared despite having never dropped it and storing it in the helmet bag. On the plus side apart from the better aerodynamics the vents are all easy to use sliding open and shut with ease with noticable air cooling on the top vents. The sun visor again is very easy to use and slides up and down well. Maybe a side lever would be quicker and better to use than the top lever. As for the pinlock visor, again after about a year\'s use there are scratches on the inside top and bottom from the pinlock insert rubbing against the visor. Finally. I had to put the larger 30mm cheek inserts in from the beginning. Whilst the head fits well in the helmet the cheek pads soon loose their firmness making the helmet a bit floppy side to side - not ideal.
