La scocca è realizzata in ADT-advanced, un mix di resine termoplastiche ad alta resistenza agli urti.
La calotta X-Wing è prodotta in due misure: M e L.

Polistirolo protettivo

La fodera interna in polistirolo è realizzata in tre misure (S, M e L) per ottenere una migliore ergonomia e una densità variabile. Questa caratteristica permette un assorbimento graduale e progressivo della potenza prodotta dall'impatto.

Anche se la maggior parte dell'energia creata dall'impatto viene assorbita dal guscio esterno, grazie alla sua deformazione, il ruolo del polistirolo è fondamentale per l'assorbimento della potenza residua.

Una diversa densità del polistirolo permette di ottimizzare le prestazioni meccaniche della calotta-polistirolo, garantendo il massimo livello di assorbimento in tutte le zone del casco.

Ventilazione

Le prese d'aria sono state sviluppate per migliorare il comfort all'interno del casco. Il flusso d'aria è incanalato attraverso 4 prese d'aria nella parte anteriore.
La fodera interna in polistirolo è stata progettata per lavorare in simbiosi con la presa d'aria della calotta esterna. Particolari canali, ricavati nel polistirolo, permettono un flusso d'aria ottimizzato e un rapido scarico dell'aria calda dallo spoiler.

Shell

Shell is made of ADT-advanced, a mix of thermoplastic resins with high resistance to crashes.
The X-Wing shell is produced in two sizes: M and L.

Protective Polystyrene

Internal Polystyrene liner is realized in three sizes (S, M and L) to obtain a better ergonomics and a variable density. This characteristic allows a gradual and progressive absorption of the power produced by the impact.

Even if the bigger part of the energy created by the impact is absorbed by the external shell, thanks to its deformation, the role of Polystyrene is crucial for the absorption of the residual power.

A different density of the polystyrene allows to optimize the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene, ensuring the maximum level of absorption in all areas of the helmet.

Ventilation

The air intakes have been developed to improve the comfort inside the helmet. The air flow is channeled through 4 air intakes in the front.
The internal polystyrene liner has been designed to work in symbiosis with the air intake in the external shell. Particular channels, obtained in the polystyrene, allow an optimized airflow and a quick exhaust of the hot air from the spoiler.

Interior

Inner lining and cheek pads are removable, washable and replaceable.
