Its mechanical resistance actually reaches class AAA, while the aluminum inserts on shoulders and knees and the steel inserts on the elbows – with customizable positioning – optimize the suit's protection level by fully minimizing friction in the event of a fall. Made of premium D-Skin cowhide with localized perforation, Audax D-Zip 1PC Perf. Leather Suit features a patented fully stretch back construction– a structure that minimizes seams while enhancing the suit’s resistance in the event of a fall. All this owing to stretch microfiber characterized by Microelastic 2.0 inserts, which make the suit even more close fitting and therefore better at containing volume in an upright position.

Comfortable riding posture and freedom of movement are further enhanced by the iconic double-zipper construction and stretch fabric on the abdomen – a historic Dainese patent allowing the body to be kept snug against the tank when in tucked position, with no discomfort from the rigid and inextensible central zipper element. Maximum riding comfort is also guaranteed by the integrated Boots-IN system.The detachable D-Tec Racing Core interior further increases comfort and aerodynamics, as this removable and washable inner layer houses the composite shoulder protectors – now even more sensitive to the body’s micro-movements – and the Pro-Shape 2.0 hip protectors.

D-Skin 2.0 Leather

D-skin 2.0 is another product of excellence from the D-Tec department. The material sets new standards in terms of abrasion, tensile and tear resistance and offers maximum comfort thanks to its softness and flexibility. D-skin 2.0 is made from carefully selected, full-grain cowhide leather that features long, intact fibers. It has the same thickness as other cowhides used in our collection. Special treatments with resins and silicone waxes improve the technical features of this top leather. D-skin 2.0 leather is typically between 1.1 and 1.3 mm thick.

Localized Perforation

This patented technology of Dainese allows localized perforation: so it is used only in areas where ventilation is absolutely necessary. The area of seams is thereby left out, which ensures greater safety and comfort.

Metal inserts

The use of metal inserts made of titanium, steel, aluminum or special alloys provides greater abrasion resistance to the joint areas of the body, reduces the risk of dangerous twisting and/or rollover during a fall and distributes the impact force over a larger area.

Micro-Elastics

This patented technology from Dainese takes safety and comfort to a new level: it consists of a large leather element held elastic by bellows that expands vertically in two directions (width and length), giving the wearer greater freedom of movement in the kidney area (when bending over the fuel tank) and on the torso and arms.

Pro-Shape

Dainese's proprietary Pro-Shape 2.0 protection technology provides superior shock absorption, extreme flexibility and unmatched comfort. The protector is shaped like a sandwich: the outer sides are made of polymer and bonded to an inner layer of polyethylene foam. This gives this unique armor its extreme flexibility and high shape memory, ensuring excellent ergonomics.

Replaceable Slider System (RSS)

Dainese has patented a new design of the second generation RSS Slider System. The new product features a revised slider profile and a new elbow design. In addition, a seamlessly integrated titanium armor provides significant weight reduction and improved fit and ease of use. The innovative quick-release system makes slider replacement fast, easy and safe.

S1 Fabric

S1 fabric is designed for improved comfort and to facilitate ventilation of the garment. The fabric is made of elastomer with Cordura polyamide coating, providing unmatched mechanical strength, great elasticity and superior comfort. The use of nanotechnology provides optimal water and oil repellent features.
